Bedford, MA (December 10, 2019) – Alliance Environmental Group (AEG), an F.W. Webb Company, welcomes John L. Meyer, LEP, LSP to their Warwick, R.I. office as Senior Principal Scientist. He will be responsible for regulatory environmental permitting and compliance, due diligence, hazardous waste site assessment, remediation, and ecological analysis. “We are thrilled to have John on the team. He has robust expertise in site investigation, remediation, and compliance with state regulations,” said Felix Perriello, CHMM, CPG, LSP, LEP, President, Alliance Environmental Group. “He brings a proven track record and the deep understanding required for complex projects such as the closure of landfills and the cleanup of man-made chemicals known as polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBS.”
An effective and reliable Senior Principal and strategic leader, Meyer has over 30 years of experience in the environmental industry and has provided services to private and public sector clients on Brownfields Sites as well as industrial, institutional, commercial, and residential facilities. Prior to joining AEG, Meyer held leadership positions in environmental permitting and consulting firms where he served as LSP-of Record, LEP-of-Record, Principal-In-Charge and Group Leader for high-profile environmental restoration projects. Meyer received his Master of Arts in Biology from the University of Hartford and his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of Connecticut. He is a Licensed Environmental Professional in Connecticut and a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts.
When Meyer is not investigating and remediating sites he enjoys racing sailboats. He has crewed on a number of offshore races including the Marblehead-Halifax Race and the Newport-Bermuda Race.
