Bedford, MA (April 24, 2024) – Alliance Environmental Group (AEG), an F.W. Webb Company, is excited to announce the addition of Keith Buchanan as Senior Principal Scientist. Mr. Buchanan possesses a wealth of knowledge from managing hazardous waste sites across New England.
“With over 20 years of diverse experience working with a variety of engineering firms and developers in conjunction with local, state, and federal agencies, Keith will be able to fully support our clients’ needs,” said Felix Perriello, President of Alliance Environmental Group. “He is an accomplished hydrogeologist with an extensive background overseeing site regulatory compliance through investigation and remediation–including UST removals–on-site soil treatment, and groundwater treatment systems. When it comes to hazardous materials disposal, he is a master practitioner.”
As Senior Principal Scientist, Mr. Buchanan is responsible for regulatory compliance management, bidding, and cost estimating. Additionally, he oversees emergency response, tank work, groundwater and soil projects, construction, asbestos abatement services, and the transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
“I’m excited about this new opportunity,” said Mr. Buchanan. “My focus will be business development with existing portfolio and prospect accounts. With a nine-state company footprint to work in, I have a lot of territory to cover!”
Based in Warwick, Rhode Island, he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Geology, from Framingham State College. Mr. Buchanan will be tasked with expanding our current service lines, including waste disposal, disaster response, glycol, and the building sciences service lines.
Mr. Buchanan is an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. In his free time, he can be found skiing on a distant mountain slope or competing in an international bicycle racing event. About Alliance Environmental Group
