Indoor Air Quality

Improve the indoor air quality (IAQ) in your home or business and help prevent the spread of germs from viruses like the flu and COVID-19 with the following services from Alliance Environmental Group (AEG), an F.W. Webb Company.

Air Quality Testing

Many factors contribute to poor IAQ such as mold, mildew, asbestos, and dust. As the first step to remediate air quality issues, our rapid response mobile teams come to your home or office/facility to test the indoor air.

We are highly experienced in federal and state regulatory guidelines and use state-of-the-art equipment such as moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and video borescopes. We also collect samples for detailed laboratory analysis.

Viral Disinfection

To complete the process and prevent the spread of contaminants, we recommend viral disinfection. We utilize EPA-registered disinfectants that have a 1-minute kill claim for bacteria, viruses, and COVID-19 at the appropriate concentration.

Our disinfection services leave no surface untouched and takes only a couple of hours. Our disinfectants are certified safe by NSF International (previously the National Sanitation Foundation), a leading public health and safety organization. Services include:

  • Surface Wiping: Process involves sanitizing and wiping down all solid surfaces.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: Creates a lasting barrier on any surface to resist pathogens.

Duct Cleaning

When potential air contaminants have been identified, duct cleaning is the next critical step to improving air quality. It can improve air circulation, the efficiency of your heating and cooling systems, and eliminate contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, dust, pollen, volatile organic compounds, and more.

Our cleaning process restores HVAC systems to their normal operating condition. First we prepare the access locations in the system, then evaluate the duct work condition, and implement the following cleaning techniques. Once complete, we seal and reassemble the system components.

Cleaning involves:

  • Vacuuming the HVAC system.
  • Agitating and cleaning the interior of duct work surfaces using air-powered brushes.
  • Applying a disinfection agent throughout the system.
