Glycol Removal, Disposal, and Replenishment

Rely on the professionals at Alliance Environmental Group (AEG), an F.W. Webb Company, for turn-key solutions.

Glycol is a water-miscible coolant used in all chiller-based cooling systems. The two main types are ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. The correct blend of inhibited glycol to water in a system is critical – too little encourages bacterial growth and could result in system freezing.

AEG’s agreements with major distributors of glycol products allow us to quickly and cost effectively source materials to remove, dispose of, and replenish glycol.

This service includes:

  • Pumping out the spent glycol into a vacuum truck, flushing the system, collecting the water with a vacuum truck, and transferring a fresh supply of corrosion-inhibited glycol mixture to the boiler or chiller system
  • Disposing of the combined spent glycol and flush water at a properly licensed facility

AEG employs a team of OSHA-certified scientists and engineers, as well as experienced technicians to help you select the right products for your HVAC system. We also have competitively priced weekend and holiday services, and a proven track record of success with facilities across the Northeast.

Are you scheduling chiller system or boiler repair work? Do you need to dispose of spent glycol and replenish your supply?
